The one with Chunners was the Ps3 old boxart. This is the new box art for both versions. Looks better. But i wish it had the boxart of the collectors edition.
It has potential. But i agree with you on the jumping/standing/running animation thing. It does look stupid. The gameplay vids look interesting though. The powers do look intriguing. I just hope it's deep and well fleshed out enough in the end. I have faith in them delivering a solid game.
But i do agree, i hope they get some better animations for him. Some Uncharted style animations.

Same here about the Uncharted thing. It turned out to be my favorite game of this gen so far and made my top 10 list of favorite games. Infamous at first looked pretty.... Uninteresting. But the gameplay footage at E3 QUICKLY raised my interest in it.
It's not so much a point of me "not caring about deathmatch" it's just that the emphasis on Killzone 2's online seem to be class based team play. It doesn't make much sense to tack it on if the online component they are building up isn't based on JUST running around and shooting. It's like Kleptic said some classes are better suited for running and gunning than others.

I got a ton of disagree's for saying something POSITIVE? Wow. I basically just said what you said, i guess people just didn't read between the lines.
No "Deathmatch" works for me. Team Fortress 2 to me (the best online game i've played yes better than CoD) has no deathmatch in it. It's a emphasis on team play and that to me trumps "I'mma kill everyone i see screw me team mates" that you always see in those deathmatch heavy online games. In fact i applaud GG for leaving it out.
I just hope to see The Dark Knight Blu-Ray sitting under my christmas tree come christmas morning. Seeing as it's been sold out and selling like hot cakes my optimism is fading.
I think some how royalties from the Ps3 version of games being sold is higher than the royalties from the 360 version of games being sold. Because the 360 versions sell the most but somehow companies turn more profit from the Ps3 version of games.

I said the same thing to myself when i saw the video for the PSN video store. I laughed "50 first dates". That's how you advertise and raise consumer awareness about your product.
It's not a question of "Do 3rd party titles sell on the Wii". They do but what TYPE of third party sell on the Wii. Look beyond just the numbers. Look at the demographic and appeal on the games that is selling like gangbusters for the Wii. GH, Sonic, Raving Rabbids just to name a few are colossal sellers on the Wii. All third party. But look at the appeal of those games. Those aren't going after the exact same people who buys Bioshock, Uncharted, Fable etc.

Haha so did I. I was jumping around when i finally got the Gold Uzi. And wasn't there 2 guys hiding behind that concrete door? I thought it was two.
Also i remember the farm level. Where it was dead quiet. And then you'd go into one of the houses and the enemies would just FLOOD around you. They would be everywhere. Black had some amazing moments.
Definitely true. I remember the last level in black in that prison was HELL on hard mode. Hell even on normal it was a b****. Such an amazing game but like you said it got flak for not having online.
Also if i remember correctly if you had a certain number of kills on the hardest difficulty with a certain weapon you'd unlock the gold plated version of that weapon.
Is that really so surprising? Really? I mean what's the ONE thing all of us here have in common? We're all gamers. We all love games. Even the biggest of fanboys i'm sure deep down inside there's one or two titles that's on the "other side" that they'd like to play. Just look at how many people jumped up when BioShock was said to be going to the Ps3. All of a sudden it was as "over rated" as some people were proclaiming it to be.

Oy. Biggest problem? Even though the Wii is in the most consumer homes most of those consumers are casual gamers. They buy what they see on tv for their wii (more or less). Just look at the numbers for more hardcore games like No More Hero's. Terrible sales. That was a hardcore game on the wii, same for Zack and Wiki (despite it's casual appeal in look). BioShock, OB, Mirrors Edge (which was listed in the article as well) just wouldn't fit in with the image of the Wii.

So true MK. Black is one of the 3 "fps's" (some like Dues Ex i count as fps because it's a hybrid) that i actually like/love. It was all about the guns and was action packed. CoD4 kind of reminded me of black because of the awesome reload animations and heavy emphasis on the guns.
As a Ps3 only owner (sadly not enough money to support a 360 as well) i'd want Mass Effect, Ninja Gaiden 2, Gears and Alan Wake from 360. From Wii i'd like De Blob and No More Hero's. Hell i'd add Zack and Wiki to the list as well from the Wii.
I love video games and don't really play "favorites" with which console is "better" which is a subjective subject based on personal taste on games.
They just need to polish those animations. I'm already sold on the gameplay and premise. They just need better animations for Cole. Particularly the running and jumping and standing animations.
